Veteran-Assisted Treatment
We accept most Health insurances
Our Veterans are heroes who have served under some of the worst conditions this country has ever seen. They deserve to be treated well and with respect. At 1000 Hills Recovery and Treatment Center, our Veterans-Assisted Treatment program helps those that have served in our military to reach sobriety and maintain lifelong recovery.
We treat both alcohol and drug addiction. We also recognize that a lot of Veterans deal with mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD. Our Veterans-Assisted Treatment program strives to help our Veterans restore their lives by helping them to gain back hope, honor, and respect. Our goal is to help our Veterans get their post-service lives back so they can lead happy and healthier lives.
We Offer Veterans-Friendly Programs
Addiction causes harmful poison/toxins to build up in the body. In order for recovery to begin, these toxins must be cleared from the body. Once the toxins have been released, the Veteran will have a much clearer head. They can then learn about the disease of addiction and focus on learning to maintain sobriety.

After detox, the hard work begins when it’s time for our Veterans to work on their recovery. Treatment for each Veteran is individualized based on their specific needs. Our Veterans-Assisted Treatment has several different options for treatment. We offer a partial-hospitalization program, an intensive-outpatient program, an outpatient program, and telehealth services. We also specialize in dual diagnosis mental health treatment.
Veteran-Accepted Rehab at 1000 HILLS
During treatment, whichever is determined to be best for the Veteran, each person will receive several different types of therapy. Each one of these therapies helps them to embrace their sobriety. Therapy can include:
- Individual Therapy
- Group Therapy
- 12-Step Therapy
- Treatment for trauma
We will also work closely with the Veterans other treatment providers including the VA (Veterans Affairs). This helps us to provide the best care and also allows us to provide specific care to the needs of the Veteran. We want to get to the root cause of their issues so we can teach them the skills they need to get through them. This will ensure they leave us set up to be successful.
Addiction Treatment for Military Veterans
One of the most helpful parts of our Veterans-Assisted Treatment is that we specialize in dual diagnosis mental health treatment. Mental health disorders are a common part of substance use disorders as a large percentage of addicts/alcoholics suffer from these issues.
Our Veterans are at an even greater risk of developing them due to trauma. Serving in the military can be very difficult especially through war. Being wounded or seeing others wounded or killed can cause severe emotional and psychological damage. This can then cause the Veteran to develop terrible mental health problems. Because of this, it is vital for our Veterans to be closely assessed and treated. Our Veterans-Assisted Treatment program provides the skilled and caring treatment necessary for each to be successful in their recovery.
