Intensive Outpatient Program
We accept most Health insurances
Intensive Outpatient Programs provide treatment for substance abuse that is generally a cross between regular inpatient treatment and a standard outpatient treatment program.
Also known as IOP, Intensive Outpatient Programs are much more extensive than regular Outpatient Treatment Programs. However, they do not require the person to stay at a facility like regular inpatient treatment requires.
IOP Addiction Rehab at 1000 HILLS
Intensive Outpatient Programs generally meet 3 to 5 days a week for a few hours each time. Normally the first step is to develop a treatment plan. The individual will then participate in group and individual counseling sessions. They will also learn about the disease of addiction and relapse prevention techniques.
Also, we offer family counseling services, case management, and medication management services if needed. Intensive Outpatient Programs can also help a person gain employment and get psychiatric care if necessary. At 1000 Hills Treatment Center, our IOP Program is patient-centered and always solution-focused for lasting recovery.

Intensive Outpatient Programs Treatment Goals
The National Institute of Health reports that:
Substance abuse intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) are direct services for people with substance use disorders or co-occurring mental and substance use disorders who do not require medical detoxification or 24-hour supervision. IOPs are alternatives to inpatient and residential treatment. They are designed to establish psychosocial supports and facilitate relapse management and coping strategies. They are as effective as inpatient treatment for most individuals seeking care. (NIH)
